LEGAL MENTORING: INSPIRE AND BE INSPIRED
• Tuesday 23 June 2020 •
5.30 pm – 7 pm
·Why is mentoring important? ⋅ What is the purpose of a mentor? ⋅ How can I benefit from mentoring?
The LYLG Mentor Scheme, in collaboration with F-LEX, launched in December 2019 offering one-on-one mentoring to our members. If like us, you are excited about mentoring and want to find out more, you can join us on Tuesday 23 June 2020 for a virtual conversation with some of the most influential voices in the legal profession.
ABOUT THE EVENT
LYLG hope to cover a range of topics aimed at both mentees and mentors, such as:
- The importance of the mentee and mentor relationship;
- Life as a trainee at a magic circle law firm;
- Practical tips for the training contract recruitment process;
- The significance of personal branding; and
- Life as a qualified lawyer.
LYLG are excited to be joined by Harry Clark, Justin Farrance, Chrissie Wolfe, and Samantha Hope.
Each of the speakers will share their own experiences of what mentoring means to them and why it has been important to them both personally and professionally.
The discussion will be focused on how aspiring solicitors and junior lawyers can make the most out of mentoring. Specifically, how mentees and mentors can implement the various skills that are gained throughout the mentoring process to further their careers and passions.
The virtual event will then be followed by a Q&A networking session, within group break-out rooms, where our audience can interact with each of the speakers and ask any questions that they may have.
